Tower Hamlets is looking for a talented and enthusiastic candidate to support an ambitious Parking and Mobility Service. We are looking to appoint an officer to work on both informal challenges and formal representations who will work with the current back office team and be responsible for ensuring Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) enquiries and representations at all stages through the PCN process, are responded to within statutory timeframes and in accordance with the legislation, policies and procedures. To respond to all appeals received from London Tribunals in relation to, either, representations rejected by the Council, or, Orders from the County Court where the case has been referred to the Adjudication Service.
Previous experience of working within the Parking industry and dealing with Parking related correspondence and/or complaints is essential and should include, A levels or NVQ Level 3 Notice Processors (Parking) qualification / relevant degree, or at least 3 years relevant experience. The successful candidate will be required to investigate and respond appropriately to penalty charge notice representations, appeals and enquiries in line with legislation and council policies. In addition to this the officer will be required to have excellent IT and administration skills as they will be required to manage their own caseload as well as supporting other team members at times. Attention to detail are paramount, together with a genuine commitment to, and experience of, first class customer service.
