Our school motto is ‘Putting Learning First’ something that we hold dear. We also have a yearly mantra which this year is ‘Excellence is not an act, but a habit’. Colleagues at our school are happy and as a result we have low staff turnover. Staff wellbeing and work life balance is a priority for us as we believe that our staff, work at their best when they are also able to commit fully to their family and personal lives. Behaviour of students at Kelmscott is impeccable. Our behaviour systems are designed to allow teachers to teach and our students to learn. The support staff team at Kelmscott are an integral part of the processes that keep our classrooms ‘disruption free’ something we would be happy to show you.

We received an ungraded inspection in January 2025, Ofsted saw two typical Kelmscott days and were highly impressed with what they saw. “Behaviour is exemplary” and “the curriculum is highly ambitious” are two soundbites from a very positive report indeed.
