Are you looking for a unique opportunity to start your career in Children's Social Services and a chance to support the development of an innovative service?

We are delighted to offer a committed and dynamic preceptorship or newly qualified Occupational Therapist the opportunity to join our Children's Social Care Occupational Therapy Team within the Children with Disabilities Service at the London Borough of Redbridge.

You will be able to experience working with children who are Neurodivergent, a diagnosis of learning disabilities and a wide variety of physical and progressive conditions.

The service works with children in their home by delivering intervention and support through assessments, advice, equipment, adaptations and moving and handling risk and care plans.

Our aim is to also provide training and advice to parents/carers and give them the tools to develop each child's individual needs by equipping them with the skills to support them in their home.

We work in close partnership with colleagues in health, education and SEND to provide a high-quality service. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team, ideally someone who has at least one previous experience working with children, social service or moving and handling.
