London Borough of Waltham Forest (LBWF) is on an ambitious programme of new build homes on communal and district energy schemes.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing, as well as excellent customer service for our residents. This exciting position requires a strong technical background in heat metering systems and billing processes, along with exceptional leadership abilities to effectively collaborate with a range of internal team and external stakeholders.

What you'll do…
Effectively manage the team:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced heat metering and billing manager to oversee, manage and coordinate LBWF’s Communal Heating Network Portfolio. This will include overseeing heat metering and billing services to residents living in homes connected to communal heating and hot water systems.
To be responsible to the Rents Manager for the delivery of day to day management of the third-party contractor who currently issues our individual heat bills to residents. The role will also involve work with other stakeholders to develop and implement the Council’s long-term Heat Metering and Billing Strategy, developing local processes for the service and line management of a Heat Metering and Billing Officer
