Crownfield Junior School is a proactive, supportive, well-resourced school, with high expectations of all members of staff and pupils. The school has also retained our Ofsted grading of ‘Good’ in our last Ofsted inspection in May 2018. The Executive Head teacher, Head teacher and Governors are currently looking for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic IT Technician to join our fun and supportive team.
You will also join us at a very exciting time. We have recently completed an expansion programme, as the school increases to 4 forms of entry. The school is also part of The Learning and Achieving Federation (formed with The Mawney Foundation School), which commenced in July 2018. This enables the schools to share training, support, expertise and resources across both sites for the benefit of the pupils and staff.
Required to start in September 2023, or as soon as possible after, an enthusiastic, flexible, confident individual with excellent interpersonal and IT skills to support the pupils and staff in developing the effective use of IT to support learning and teaching, term time only. An ability to work on your own initiative and to keep calm under pressure is essential.
The IT Technician provides first line support to pupils and staff for IT systems, equipment and applications on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for basic IT maintenance, health and safety and security. These responsibilities cover curriculum IT and school management and administration of IT.
If you think you have the experience, energy, enthusiasm and skills to fit into our continually improving school, applications can be submitted online.
