PR AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

ABOUT THE JOB
You will be reporting to the Marketing Manager, and you will be responsible for the delivery of local, regional, and national PR coverage. You will be collaborating with the internal team as well as external agencies to implement the PR strategy to increase brand awareness, generate new memberships and become a reputable thought leader within the sector.
You will be organising events to support conferences, as well as developing content including social media and articles. You will have the management of the PR agency to deliver press releases, thought leadership, editorials, advertorials, and case studies, as well as work together to identify opportunities for brand exposure.
The successful post holder will be educated to a degree level in a relevant area and ideally working towards or holding your CIM, CMI, CIPR or other recognised qualification in this field. You will have evidence of working in a similar role and have worked in medial as well as having organised previous organising events, creating engaging content media content across multiple communications channels. You will have evidence of working proactively across a variety of relevant
projects & tasks.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract from December 2022 to December 2023, the role is 28 hours a week over 4 days. It is a hybrid role however you must be aware that there are 4 team meetings per month 2 of which will need to be attended in person in Liverpool.
