We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Team Manager  to join us in our drive to improve the quality of our services. As Team you will be responsible for the following:

You will lead the team, manage demand effectively, empower residents to focus on their strengths and abilities, maximise use of community resources and optimise the use of equipment, adaptations and assistive technology to prevent or delay care and residential placements. 

Participating in the neighbourhood programme, you will drive forward our commitment to person centred working with a strengths based practice approach and an ethos of co-production to achieve the very best outcomes for our residents.

You will contribute to ensuring people’s safety in line with Hackney’s Safeguarding Policy and procedures.. 

You will be a strong leader and develop your team in critical thinking, risk assessments, multi-disciplinary working in the delivery of strength-based models of practice, maximising the use of community resources to promote independence and reduce reliance on care packages wherever possible. 

You will promote a preventative approach to interventions, maximising use of resources including equipment, adaptations, assistive technology and advice and information. 

You will need a sound knowledge of social care, health care, and transformation agendas and have the confidence to make key and often creative decisions working within relevant legislation, policies and best practice guidance.

As a team manager, you may be required to deputise for the Principale Therapy Lead and provide supervision to senior practitioners. You will offer staff support and guidance, give feedback on performance and implement a high-quality standard of professional practice and performance in service delivery, developing a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
