Parenting Co-ordinator

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and knowledgeable Parenting Co-ordinator to join the Early Help Service. The Early Help Service supports families with children and young people aged 0 to 19 and up to 25 with a disability. Working in partnership with families and other professionals  EHS address problems at the earliest opportunity,  enabling families to support their children to reach their full potential.

This newly created role will enable us to deliver the Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities (EPEC) programme ; a community-based programme which trains local parents to run parenting group in their community.

The Parent Coordinator will train local parent group leaders to facilitate evidence based programmes in the community. As well as embedding the EPEC parenting offer to complement Waltham Forest’s existing parenting programmes available to our residents.
