Croydon council is in a period of significant change; with a new Executive Mayor to be elected in May and an ambitious renewal plan focused on improving services and addressing the council’s financial challenge, this is an exciting time to join the team.

This role works at the heart of the Council’s democratic function, providing direct support to the Leader of the Council and Cabinet Members. This is a key role for the Leader’s Office, providing diary management, policy research and administrative support to multiple Cabinet Members to ensure their agendas are delivered. The proactive nature of the role will include developing and maintaining forward plans and pre-empting the needs of the Leader and Cabinet.
