We are looking to appoint a dynamic Head of DT. This role is vital to our improvement and will include leading the family of DT subjects and developing outstanding vocational provision. We will only appoint a candidate who we believe has the capacity to make an exceptional contribution to DT provision across the whole school and enable us to achieve our goal of all students leaving Lister having made real and substantial progress in their learning. The DT department comprises Food Technology, 3D Design, Construction and Design Technology. It will also involve working closely with the Head of Creative Arts.
The successful candidate will work with members of the Creative Arts and Design Technology teams along with other teams to continue to develop and improve learning. In particular, we are looking to develop Construction and develop STEM with the other schools on our Trust across the Borough.
