Media & Resources Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools for a Media Resources Apprentice. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to develop a career in print production and digital media. You will be working with the Media Resources Manager as part of the Leathersellers’ Federation of School’s Media Resources Team.
You will have the opportunity to use your creative and design skills to assist in the design and production of high quality documents, leaflets and teaching resources for staff, students and parents in keeping with the Federation’s image.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and creative and able to work equally as well on their own initiative or as part of a team. You will have a passion for print production and digital media software and demonstrate the ability to be organised, have attention to detail and follow instructions. Experience of Adobe CS preferred.
You will learn how to use digital media to design documents and fliers. You will learn how to use photocopying machines and printers to produce all kinds of items like documents, brochures, posters, leaflets and pictures and how to ‘finish’ the printed materials by binding or mounting them.
You will become familiar with using digital media equipment, updating websites, video creation and photography.
Salary: £19,656 pro-rata
