Contract: Permanent position
Required for a January 2021 start
We seek to appoint an outstanding teacher to help drive forward our Geography Department. The successful applicant will be instrumental in ensuring the further improvement of the Geography department, ensuring high quality teaching and that there are student intervention programmes in place which ensure student progress. This post would be ideal for either a strong ambitious and aspiring teacher or a current TLR holder.
Sanders is part of the Success for All Multi Academy Trust along with Redden Court School and Royal Liberty. Sanders School is a small comprehensive, 11-16 school, located in Hornchurch and rich in history. As a Geography teacher you will:
- be accountability for the standards attained by all students within your lessons
- Set high standards of expectations within your classroom
- plan and apply strategies/interventions for rapid progress
- ensure the delivery of effective teaching and learning that maximises individual progress
- ensure that within the Geography Department, the learning environment includes facilities, health and safety and effective deployment of resources.
