TEMPORARY TEACHING ASSISTANT SSA (SPECIAL SUPPORT ASSISTANT) IN KEY STAGE ONE FOR AN IMMEDIATE START.

 

We are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant SSA to work one on one with a pupil in Year 1/2.

 

TA SSA (KS1)

25 hours a week term time only (39 weeks)

Scale 3 £13,296 to £13,536 per annum inclusive of Inner London Weighting

Supporting a pupil with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)

 

Melcombe Primary School aims to achieve high academic standards by developing pupils’ abilities to their full potential, to create independent, self-motivated pupils who can explore their expressive and creative skills and talents.

 

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they are or have:

  • Two years minimum satisfactory experience as a TA, with evidence of INSET undertaken
  • committed to promoting the  ethos of the school
  • reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team
  • enthusiastic about working and playing with children
  • Enthusiastic
  • Patient & Confident
  • Desirably have at least 6 months experience of working/volunteering in an early years/KS1 setting in a UK School with Special Needs (SEN) experience.
