This role
As the National Operational Safeguarding Lead you will support the Lead Executive Safeguarding Director and the Head of Customer Risk to ensure that MTVH meets all regulatory and statutory standards in Safeguarding children and adults at risk whilst also ensuring best practice is delivered.
You will provide leadership and guidance to colleagues across the business to enable them to confidently apply safeguarding regulation and best practice to our customers. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of operating systems to ensure robust governance and reporting arrangements to SLT, senior management and MTVH Assurance committee/ board sub-group.
This is a national role and can be based out of either of our London EC1N / N14 offices, our Nottingham, NG7, Derby, DE21, or Cambridge CB24 offices. There will be an expectation to travel to most of these main offices on a regular basis.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of Housing and Care & Support environments.
- Extensive experience of Safeguarding, Investigatory, CQC and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Experience of leading a team.
- A customer-focused approach and understand the risks faced by our customers
