Grade: Scale 3 £18,795 - 19,171 + SEN Allowance £983 pro rata
Hours per week: 0.4 - 0.6FTE (to be confirmed), term time only
Paid weeks per year: 46.2 inclusive of holiday entitlement
Start date: As soon as possible, dependant on references, DBS and notice
Fixed term for:12 months

About the role
Teaching Assistant
(Part-time 2-3 days per week - term time only)
We currently have vacancies for part-time Teaching Assistants to work alongside students at our Downs View School in Hollingdean.
Students are aged 6 to 16 and have moderate learning difficulties, complex needs and autism/ADHD. Although specific experience in this area is not essential, we would welcome applications from people who are sensitive to others with special needs. Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
