Homes for Haringey have an excellent opportunity for a Communications Officer to join our offices located in Wood Green, North London. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional looking to develop their skills within our high performing and dynamic Communications team.

Homes for Haringey is a fully fledged Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) of the London Borough of Haringey. We are firmly committed to working collaboratively toward building a spirit of team working and a supportive one culture in which innovation is encouraged and individuals can thrive.

The communications team is vital in helping our customers and the public understand what we do and why. At the same time we need to ensure our staff are informed, valued and motivated through clear and effective communication. To achieve this, you will be responsible for creating and designing material for our various audiences through a range of communications channels including the Resident's magazine, website and social media. You will also be drafting and implementing communication plans to support initiatives across the business, letting people know where services might be changing and helping to effect behaviour change as part of specific campaigns.

You will have two years' experience in a communications role where you have honed the art of writing for different audiences, using a variety of different communication channels. You need to be analytical, good at developing working relationships and comfortable with responsibility. You should be a motivated, creative, self-starter full of ideas on how to improve the way we engage our audiences. You will have experience and skill in design work (InDesign, Adobe), and you should be flexible, a team player, and have a keen eye for detail.
