This is a fixed term position for 1 year.

A new single Strategy, Performance and Intelligence service at the centre of the council aims to offer a joined-up first-class service to other council departments and key external partners. We are looking for a Safer Communities Analyst who will sit within the Strategic Intelligence and Corporate Performance team within the new central service. You work will support the priorities of the Safer Ealing Partnership through strategic and operational analysis of crime and safety data.

The role also involves working with the Safer Communities team, including with the police, to ensure that progress on the service's priorities is monitored, measured, reviewed and reported on, in order to contribute to the continuous performance management and improvement.

You will produce the analysis of data and information that enhances the understanding of practitioners, managers and elected members in respect of the Safer Ealing Partnership.

The work is varied, and as part of a diverse service, covering a range of specialisms, you will have exposure to and opportunities for development in new areas.

This role is subject to Ealing's enhanced vetting process.
