Salary range: £61,653 - £65,181 inc London Weighting (plus Golden Hello, Retention Payment and  fantastic benefits) 
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic centre and other location from time to time

The Role 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to lead one of our frontline social work teams delivering vital child protection and court work services.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll guide a team of skilled social workers managing complex child protection cases and care proceedings. You’ll ensure high-quality assessments, robust care planning and timely interventions that safeguard children and promote their welfare.

You’ll be responsible for supervision, performance management and supporting professional growth, creating an environment where staff feel valued, supported and inspired to deliver their best work.

Working closely with partners across health, education, police and legal services, you’ll help build a culture of collaboration and professional excellence — always keeping children at the heart of what we do.
