Pay: UPS1 £47,472 to UPS3 £51,047 + SEN £2,786 + TLR £3,527

We are seeking a motivated and inspiring KS2 Phase Leader to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our children and young people.
What you’ll be doing:
- Establish a clear vision and direction for the phase that reflects the school’s overall ethos and values
- Identify key areas for improvement and lead in the development of the phase’s progress development plan – made in collaboration with the SLT and the relevant staff
- Monitor the quality of learning and lead staff in achieving high quality teaching and learning
- Set targets for pupils and staff and provide the support they need to achieve their targets
- Ensure all pupils have access to education and any barriers to learning are addressed
- Advocate for all pupils in the phase and support all phase staff to ensure pupils achieve
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status (QTLS) or equivalent experience
- A qualification in SEND education is desirable
- Experience of working with children with SEND and ASC is ideal but applications from those working in mainstream settings are very welcome
- Have prior experience of teaching pupils of a similar age group (KS2)
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Opened in 2015, Arc School Old Arley is an independent special day school situated within a rural village near Nuneaton, affording children and young people the opportunity to take part in a range of activities within the local community. The spacious school environment is bright and welcoming with a variety of different learning spaces inside and outside
Our school has a particular focus on taking learning outside the classroom into the grounds and community beyond and working in partnership with other organisations to enrich opportunities for children and young people.
Arc School Old Arley is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
