A Leadership Opportunity to Change Lives
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to:
- Manage a team of officers responsible for increasing the supply of affordable accommodation for homeless households and processing contract payments to suppliers
- Provide effective procurement and contract management of commissioned services
In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you will:
- Oversee the procurement of accommodation, ensuring its quality and compliance with legal and health and safety standards
- Manage budgets relevant to property procurement ensuring best value and financial efficiency
- Ensure compliance with homelessness legislation
- Foster a flexible, person-centred approach, recognizing that every household’s needs are unique
- Lead, develop, and inspire your team, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional outcomes for our residents

We are seeking an ambitious and proactive individual who is self-motivated, has a positive attitude and thrives in a busy and challenging environment.
You will also need:
- A strong understanding of procurement, commissioning and contract management
- Comprehensive knowledge of homelessness legislation and case law
- Proven experience in leading and managing a successful team
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- A people-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering an exceptional service
- Effective communication is key in this role, as well as the ability to interact confidently with the various stakeholders
