Communications and Campaigns Officer x2
Fixed Term Contract – 15 months
Location: Lynton House, Ilford, IG1 1NY
We are looking for two Communications and Campaigns Officers to help us create impact in our communications as we start our ambitious and exciting modernisation programme.
Do you want to help promote the work of the Council, give our colleagues and local people a voice, connect and share their stories, and make a real difference?
The London Borough of Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse, and exciting east-London borough with fantastic opportunities for our colleagues and residents. We have and continue to develop innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council. This is an exciting time for the Council as we have recently embarked on an exciting and ambitious journey to become more modern, whilst supporting local people to live better lives in our vibrant borough. This is a great opportunity for a communications professional to help shape the narrative and drive positive change internally and externally.
We are a small but brilliant Communications Team that is consistently looking to deliver innovative content, stories, and campaigns across our channels and this is your chance to be part of taking Redbridge to the next level.
Our Communications and Campaigns Officer role offers you the chance to start or continue your career in Communications and be involved in making a difference to our workplace, the lives of local people, and shaping the reputation of our fantastic borough. We support our team members to learn new skills, develop in their roles, and take ownership of their work.
You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of the key principles of communicating with different audiences and the ability to create engaging visual and written content. Above all, you will show a passion for the work we are doing and the drive to achieve great results with a willingness to learn.
