We are looking to recruit a number of SEND Learning Support Assistants for October 2025 to add to our excellent staff team.

Currently the parents view the strengths of Park to be: Strengths of Park and we would love to recruit support staff who feel they can complement and accentuate those strengths.

We seek to recruit a versatile staff who will embrace the challenge offered but, in the first instance, this vacancy is for a member of staff to work with our children who have significant additional needs (many of whom have ASC). At Park we trust in the skills of the professional; we think that all staff should be confident in their capacity and growth and should be agile to change and opportunity.

In you, we seek to appoint a motivated, passionate and compassionate LSA who:

  • has high expectations of all children regardless of their individual pathway;
  • is professional at all times;
  • values progress in all its guises;
  • is reflective and flexible in approach;
  • is innovative and creative as well as caring and committed;
  • is driven and takes pride in all that they do.
  • communicates thoughtfully
  • preferably has some experience of working with children with SEND

From us, you can expect:

  • a learning environment underpinned by professional trust;
  • a commitment to your continued development and your wellbeing;
  • a supportive and ‘together’ learning community;
  • mutual respect.

We are a values-driven organisation: evident buy-in and exemplification of our values is an imperative part of our recruitment process. Visits to the school are STRONGLY recommended.

Closing date: Friday 10th October 2025

Interviews and selection: w.c. 13th October 2025

Park is unwaveringly committed to safeguarding and the promotion of emotional and physical welfare of children and young people; we expect all staff to share this commitment. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Equality of opportunity at Park permeates all aspects of school life and is the responsibility of every member of the school and wider community. Everyone should feel safe, secure, valued and of equal worth; all should feel able to access everything that the school has to offer regardless of individual differences and needs.
