We are delighted to offer an outstanding permanent opportunity, for an experienced, motivated and proactive Team Manager to join the Family Help Team 1 based at Station Road, Barkingside. This is a pivotal position for a dedicated professional eager to make a lasting impact within a forward-thinking family support service and an opportunity to deliver the DfE’s National Social Care reforms under the Families First for Children Pathfinder.
In this permanent role, you will provide strong leadership and direction, influencing the delivery of high-quality social work practice across the team. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of the Family First for Children Pathfinder model, embedding targeted Early Help and Child in Need services, and collaborating closely with our specialist Multi-Agency Child Protection colleagues on safeguarding matters.
In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the smooth management and allocation of the 8-week duty cycle while promoting a consistent, relationship-based approach for Children and Families in Redbridge. You will provide guidance and development for Practice Managers, Social Workers and Family Help Lead Practitioners, championing innovative practices under the Family Help Mode, driving forward new ways of working within the service.
