An opportunity has arisen in the NES Business Support Team at Ley Street Depot.   This role will include working as part of a team, with a wide-ranging role in supporting frontline services within Neighbourhood & Environmental Services, including Waste, Fleet Assets & Transport, Community Protection, Consumer Protection & Licensing, and associated activities. 

 

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Planning and Organising Skills
  • Understanding of GDPR, confidentiality, safeguarding and diversity
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and problem-solving orientation and understanding the importance of ticket creation and timely resolution.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Minute taking skills

 

We are seeking someone with either some relevant experience in this area of work or an interest in developing their skills in this area of work. You will need good IT skills, an analytical approach to problem solving, good written and verbal communication skills and excellent people skills.
