Brampton Primary School, proudly rated Outstanding by Ofsted, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant SENDCo to join our team from January 2026. We are a thriving, inclusive four-form entry primary school in the heart of East London, committed to providing excellence in education for every child.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher with a passion for inclusion and SEND to play a key role in supporting our pupils at SEN Support. Working closely with the SENDCo and Inclusion Lead, the successful candidate will:

  • Support and guide teachers in differentiating classroom practice.
  • Contribute to the writing, monitoring and reviewing of Learning Support Plans.
  • Deliver whole class, group and individual teaching.
  • Work in partnership with parents and carers to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing.
  • Help ensure that provision for pupils with SEND is ambitious, inclusive and effective.

We are looking for an exceptional teacher who:

  • Has a strong understanding of SEND and inclusive practice.
  • Is reflective, proactive and collaborative in their approach.
  • Values positive relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues and external professionals.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
  • Has started, or completed, their SENDCo qualification.
