The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for leading advanced security monitoring, incident detection, and response activities. They will act as a technical escalation point, they will mentor junior analysts, fine-tune security tools, conduct threat hunting, and drive continuous improvements in security monitoring capabilities. They are expected to operate effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced SOC environment, managing multiple incidents and ensuring swift, effective mitigation of threats.
What You’ll Be Doing / How You’ll Be Involved
As a critical member of our Cyber Security Team, you will help us drive a culture of information security in everything that we do across the Council by providing relevant support, advice, and guidance
Working collaboratively with the wider team, you will help identify, analyse, and mitigate cyber threats, maintain compliance with security policies, and support the evolution of the organisation’s overall cyber defence strategy.
You will also carry out administrative changes to Camden's security systems, responding to support requests and enquiries from Camden colleagues and partners while ensuring adherence to expected SLAs.
