Cover Supervisor
Contract Hours: 37 hours per week / 38 weeks per year
Salary: Scale 4, Point 7 (FTE: £29,346 / Actual £25,219 per annum)
Contract Term: Permanent, Part term
Start Date: September 2025
The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor. The cover supervisor will support classes in the absence of a teacher, ensuring that high standards of behaviour and learning are maintained and students engage with the set work. We are looking for someone with experience of working with students. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly team. As a Cover Supervisor you will:
- Be able to continue the learning of students, even in the absence of their regular teacher, carrying out work pre-set by a subject specialist
- Be required to effectively conduct a variety of lessons and manage the student's behaviour in a calm and collected manner
- Serve the mission of St Edwards Academy by supporting a high-quality education to raise student wellbeing, emotional resilience, and achievement
