Brampton Primary School (BPS), proudly rated Outstanding by Ofsted, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team full-time from September 2025, working across upper key stage 2.  This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a thriving, inclusive school community.

As a four-form entry school located in the heart of East Ham, Brampton Primary School is known for its high standards, strong values, and unwavering commitment to excellence.  Our pupils are engaged, respectful, and motivated, supported by a dedicated and reflective staff team.  If you are an experienced HLTA who can work flexibly, take initiative, and inspire learners in years 5 and 6, we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced HLTA, or holds a relevant qualification to work at this level
  • Has a strong understanding of the key stage 2 curriculum
  • Is confident leading whole-class sessions, supporting intervention groups, and working collaboratively with teachers
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
  • Is passionate about making a positive difference to pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
