Brampton Primary School (BPS) is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Computing PPA Tutor to join our team on a part-time basis from September 2025, working three days per week.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in computing, who is passionate about digital learning and eager to inspire the next generation.  As a forward-thinking and inclusive school, we are committed to providing high-quality education that is exciting, relevant, and accessible to all pupils.

We welcome applications from individuals with a degree in computing or a related field, including those who are unqualified teachers, HLTAs (higher level teaching assistants), or professionals with relevant experience in computing and education.  If you are confident in delivering engaging computing lessons across key stages (KS) 1 and 2, and are keen to contribute to our vibrant school community, we would be delighted to hear from you.

At Brampton Primary School, we are proud of our dedicated staff team who work collaboratively to support every child’s development.  The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality PPA cover, ensuring continuity in learning while fostering pupils’ enthusiasm and confidence in computing.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a degree in computing or a related subject
  • Has experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred but not essential)
  • Can plan and deliver stimulating and inclusive computing lessons across KS1 and KS2
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork
  • Is dedicated to supporting pupils' learning and personal development
