Our Newham Learning and Skills (ONLS) London Borough of Newham have an exciting opportunity available for Sessional Tutors to join our team.
About Us
ONLS is the London Borough of Newham adult education service providing learning to residents in the borough. Following the most recent inspection by Ofsted in March 2025 we continue to be a ‘Good’ and high quality provider.

We are seeking dynamic and flexible practitioners in a number of curriculum areas with a passion for lifelong learning to deliver in the adult learning provision across the Borough of Newham.
About the Role
To plan, design, deliver, assess, evaluate and manage classroom activities within the designated subject area(s), providing the highest levels of quality in the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment to students at all levels within the organisation’s curriculum.
About You
You will be committed to learner success and our drive to put learners at the heart of everything we do; and you will be a truly inspiring and innovative teacher committed to the use of digital learning technologies. You will be expected to work evenings as required.
Your knowledge and credibility in your subject area will help ensure outstanding learning experience and positively impact on learner achievement.
You will actively promote Equality & Diversity; and will motivate learners to realise their potential.
A teaching qualification or a willingness to get qualified is essential and experience of planning and delivering high quality learning programmes is preferable.
