Redbridge is committed to providing excellent service; this is an opportunity to join our Environmental Services Team in a Housing Caretaker role, providing high quality services to residents across the borough.
You will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and external communal areas of the council's housing stock.
This customer focused position includes many varied duties; we are looking for someone with experience of caretaking and cleaning in a commercial environment. You will be committed to delivering services to a high standard and you will be expected to provide excellent customer service at all times.
You will be someone who can work on your own initiative, deliver strong consistent performance and is able to work as part of a team.
You will need the ability to meet the physical requirements of the job and carry out manual tasks involving lifting and moving heavy equipment/furniture/white goods. A valid driving licence would be of advantage, reasonable adjustments will be considered for disabled applicants.
