Early Years Practitioner (Level 2)

Salary: Scale 4, Point 7; £29,346 pro rata £25,355

Hours:  36 hrs pw 45.05 weeks (Term Time)

We at Forest Alliance of Nursery Schools are looking for a motivated Early Years Practitioner with a passion for working in Early Years.  This position will primarily be based at the Low Hall Nursery School site.

The nursery aged group of children have a wide range of needs and requires a strong communicator. A positive, forward thinking attitude is essential. The candidate should be active, patient, adaptable and able to fit into the school environment.

The successful candidate will be driven to ensure that the children under their care develop and learn in a safe and supportive environment receive high quality education and care. You will be enthusiastic, hardworking and full of creative ideas and will work to provide rich and stimulating play experiences. Applicants must be able to work well within a team as well as on their own.

Candidates will be expected to take responsibility for observing, planning, tracking and evaluating the learning and development of your key children.

The successful candidate will have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Early Years.

The post holder will be required to support with lunchtime duties.
