Site Services Assistant/Cleaner

Salary: APT&C Scale 3, Term Time + 2 weeks, £28,521-£28,929 (£15,016 pro rota)

Hours: Split Shift Mon-Fri (timing is negotiable +/- 30mins)

    • 6:30am-9:30am
    • 4:30pm-6:30pm

Forest Alliance of Nursery Schools (FANS) are seeking to appoint a Site Services Assistant. The candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude to work in a Nursery environment and be prepared to work across both sites.

Experience in school caretaking/cleaning is useful, but not essential. Proven cleaning and handyperson skills are essential as is commitment to sustainability.

We would expect you to maintain very high standards in the upkeep and improvement of our school sites and to enjoy contributing to an excellent eco friendly working environment for pupils, staff and animals.

The post-holder will be a key holder must be committed to work across the federation at both our nursery school sites, between the hours of early mornings and late evening and committed to working weekends when needed.

It is essential that you have a flexible approach, a high degree of motivation and be fully committed to working in a busy school environment. You will be required to show initiative and promote a positive image of the site through your work keeping our school clean and tidy.
