The Housing Solutions Team forms part of a wider Housing Needs Service and is an award-winning team that’s continuing to grow, improve and striving to achieve an excellent service for Redbridge residents who have a housing need. As part of this exciting journey, we are seeking two Housing Solutions Team Leaders to join our team who can:
- Support, lead and manage staff to achieve their objectives and targets
- Maintain robust case management, duty system, processes and procedures
- Provide an effective, professional homelessness service that includes assessment and investigation of homeless approaches and applications in line with the Councils’ statutory duties under Housing Act 1996 Part 7 and relevant case law.
- Continue with our focus on increasing prevention, offering customers in housing need a full range of advice and interventions on their housing options in the private and public sector with a focus
You will be used to working in a fast-paced housing environment and be able to respond effectively and pro-actively to changing circumstances and employ a flexible, problem-solving mentality to overcome varied challenges.
