About Us
At Camden, we’re not just imagining a better future – we’re building it. We’re making sure no one is left behind as we shape a borough where everyone can thrive. With major changes happening in Euston, including HS2 and the potential for new delivery vehicles and structures at Euston such as a Development Corporation, there’s never been a more exciting time to get involved.
The Role
As a Senior Policy Officer you will be part of the Euston Regeneration team – driving the delivery of the Euston Area Plan and supporting the borough’s ambitions for inclusive, sustainable development. You’ll help develop evidence for planning policies and strategies and support the development of strategies and governance models that ensure community needs are central to every decision.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders from across government, transport, private sector, and community organisations (including HS2 Ltd, Network Rail, TfL, GLA, Lendlease, and local groups). You will play a key role in shaping the business case for a new development model at Euston and support Camden’s evolving position on future governance.
About You
You will bring experience in urban regeneration, planning strategy or policy, with a strong understanding of local, regional, and national planning legislation. You’re a collaborative and solution focused professional with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
You understand the complexities of planning in a dense, evolving urban environment and can confidently support policy development, manage complex projects, and influence outcomes in a fast moving context. Your ability to engage local communities and reflect diverse perspectives in your work is essential.
Working for Camden
We’re ready to welcome your ideas, your views, and your rebellious spirit. Help us redefine how we’re supporting people, and we’ll redefine what a career can be. If that sounds good to you, we’d love to talk.
