Salary: Scale S01 Points 23-25 £31,066 - £31,896 actual salary on below hours (based on full time equivalent £37,068 -£38,058)
Working hours: 36 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, permanent full time position
Start Date: As soon as possible
We seek to appoint a passionate and caring Head of Year who values and understands the need to support the whole child and is relentless in their drive and approach to support and challenge students to be the best they can be. They will join our Pastoral Team and play a key part in helping our students to be the best that they can be.
Sanders Draper is part of the Success for All Educational Trust along with The Redden Court School, The Royal Liberty School and Rise Park Primaries. As a Head of Year you will
- Be accountable for the attendance, punctuality and conduct of the students in your year group
- Set high standards of expectations for all students and ensure they adhere to the schools systems and policies
- Plan and apply strategies/interventions for rapid progress of students accordingly
- Work to support the safety of all students at Sanders Draper and as directed by SLT

Overview: We seek a non teaching Head of Year who will be accountable for the standards of behaviour, conduct and support with the attainment of the students. Be able to motivate students to in turn achieve excellent results, showing excellent organisational and ICT skills. Have the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team and of course have a passion for the subject and an ability to share this.
