We are seeking a well-qualified, methodical and business-oriented Premises and Compliance Manager on a temporary basis to oversee the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the school site, as well as the school's compliance arrangements (including building compliance and data protection). The successful candidate will have a flair for project management, excellent communication and organisational skills and unwavering attention to detail. They will have a proven track record of leading projects through from planning to successful completion, the ability to demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills and a commitment to ensuring that the school enjoys the best possible services with the best possible value for money.
We are looking to appoint someone who:
- Is able to ensure that the school's facilities in both of its buildings are safe and proactively maintained to the highest possible standard.
- Can break down complex projects into clear processes and routines that are consistently followed and monitored.
- Has a thirst for staying up to date with the latest regulations and policies, to ensure that the school remains compliant at all times.
- Has previous experience in premises management or a similar role (knowledge of school premises management would be a significant advantage).
- Has excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Is able to work effectively as part of a team, and manage staff, contracts and contractors effectively.
- Is flexible and maintains a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Membership of a professional organisation such as the Institute of School Business Leadership is highly desirable. The successful candidate will have to meet the person specification in order to be considered for the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
