About the Job
We are looking for an ambitious, strong and dedicated Resource Officer (payroll) with a focus on attention to detail to work within the Public Realm Directorate and deal with all pay related queries.
This role requires the successful candidate to work in partnership with our payroll service to resolve complex pay issues and improve processes. Working closely on pay issues with our frontline staff will require an outstanding level of customer service.
Experience in managing complex pay issues is essential, as you will need to hit the ground running. You will be expected to have the highest standards in integrity, honesty and collaborative approaches to your work. In return, you will receive excellent terms and conditions with management support and commitment to your personal well-being and development.

All of the council’s services are based in our Folkestone Road Depot in East Ham E6 and this will be your prime work location.The post holder will be expected to be in the office at Folkestone Road Depot, East Ham five days a week.
