About the role
The Estates team has an opportunity for a suitably experienced Maintenance Engineer. The role will involve supporting the Maintenance Manager and the greater Estates team in delivering a range of services to support the staff and students of the College through the work of the department, both as a member of the team and on their own initiative.
The successful candidate should have good experience in:
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance on all plant, fixtures and fittings.
- Undertaking reactive maintenance tasks and fault-finding activity
- Update daily works done on compliance system
- Comply with and develop Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Advise and lead on electrical compliance for the organisation
Additional experience in reprographic and telecommunications systems is desirable
Excellent communication, administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team and contribute positively and creatively are also essential in this role.
