We are seeking to appoint an Early Years Educator who has

  • A good understanding of child development and the Early Year’s Foundation Stage.
  • Experience of working with 2 year olds.
  • An understanding of the role of the key worker and ability to take on that role.
  • Worked with 2-4 year olds before and enjoys playing and having conversations with young children.
  • An interest in working with children with special educational needs and disabilities and in learning more about how to support them effectively.
  • A real commitment to work closely with parents and see them as partners
  • The motivation to work closely with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
  • The ability to be reflective in their practice and interested in their professional development
  • An interest in outdoor play and awareness of its importance for young children’s development
  • A good level of written and spoken English and ability to use ICT
