About Camden

Camden is building somewhere everyone can thrive, by making our borough the best place to live, work, study and visit. Because we’re not just home to the UK’s fast-growing economy. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today. And we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind.

What You’ll Be Doing / How You’ll Be Involved

In the SEND & Inclusion Service, we continue to have high aspirations for our children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We continue to build on our dynamic staff team that will provide a high-quality service to our children and young people. We are looking for a Senior SEND and Inclusion Officer to support our service.

Working closely with the Head of SEND & Inclusion to help meet Camden’s strategic objectives by providing support that adds value. We’re looking for someone to not only support the day-to-day operational tasks including diary management for the Head of Send & Inclusion, but also to bring fresh ideas and challenge the way things are done. You will need to adapt according to service needs and show willingness to support the full range of activities undertaken by functions within the SEND & Inclusion Service.

Ability to be an advocate for the service and manage differing perspectives and potentially difficult dynamics.

The post holder will be based in our Camden community for at least 60% of the working pattern, building relationships and informing practice across the SEND Local Area.
