End User Computing (EUC) Technician
Location: Lynton House (Ilford)
Job Type: Fixed Term contract till 31st August 2025, Office-Based (5 days per week)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled End User Computer (EUC) Technician to join our dynamic IT Service Desk. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and ensuring smooth operation of end-user hardware and software systems. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and resolving technical incidents, fulfilling user requests, and maintaining IT equipment. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, problem-solving professional looking to advance their career in IT support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT incidents related to hardware, software, and system access for end users.
- Request Management: Handle requests such as onboarding new joiners, processing moves and leavers, and fulfilling hardware requests (e.g., laptops, mobile phones).
- Meeting Room Support: Perform regular meeting room checks, set up A/V equipment, and ensure smooth functionality during meetings.
- Hardware Maintenance: Diagnose and repair issues with laptops, desktops, monitors, and other peripherals, including replacing screens, keyboards, and other components as needed.
- Office Support: Provide on-site technical assistance, working from the office 5 days a week to support end users directly.
Technical Skills & Experience Required:
- Operating Systems: Windows 10 and 11
- Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams
- Identity & Access Management: Entra ID (Azure AD) / Active Directory
- Productivity Suite: Office 365 Admin Centre
- IT Service Management (ITSM) Tools: Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool for incident and request management
