Casual Part-Time Governing Body Clerks - Salary - £29,139 - £31,440 per annum (£16.75 per hour)

Governing Body meetings are held mainly in the evenings and are a mixed of virtual meetings and in schools so internet access and a suitable IT device is essential.  Flexibility regarding working hours is required.  Clerks are expected to travel to schools in Havering and neighbouring areas.

Successful candidates will need to be able to understand and advise on governance regulations and procedures at meetings as well as take notes to enable them to produce accurate minutes of the meeting.  The work requires attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines.  Training will be provided in terms of the regulations but minute taking experience would be desirable.  An interest in education is essential.

The number, frequency and location of meetings will be discussed with the successful candidates.
