An experienced SEND Teacher/Lecturer/Tutor required to support adults with SEND in an OFTSED rated Good Adult learning Programme, which forms part of Brent Council’s Adult and Community Learning Provision

The Post

You will be required:

•    The planning and delivery of a creative and innovative quality learning programme. 
•    To consider individual student needs, abilities, background and experiences to ensure teaching, learning and support is highly differentiated. 
•    To use a variety of traditional, modern, innovative and creative teaching approaches to underpin and compliment learning and achievement. 
•    To enable students to maximise their learning potential and develop confidence and the ability to learn independently as well as within the group dynamic.

The Person

You will be a highly experienced SEND practitioner with a minimum of three years SEND teaching experience in secondary or post-16 education with a background in whole curriculum teaching You will have experience of delivering teaching and learning to a range of SEN.

Have experience of supporting learners with any of the following Autism (ASC), mental health, SEMH, ADHD, Speech and Language and Specific Learning difficulties would be very desirable.
