Pastoral Support Officer
Hours: 32.5 hours per week x 39 weeks per year (term time plus 1 week) Monday - Friday (8.30am - 4.00pm)
Salary: Scale 5.12 - 5.15 (£30,033 - £31,440 FTE)
Actual Salary: £23,296- £24,388 p.a including Outer London Allowance
Contract Type: Temporary for 1 year
Reports to: SENDCO and SLT

We are now looking to appoint a passionate and inspiring Pastoral Support Officer to join Benhurst Primary School.
Job Purpose
To exercise a key role in assisting the Inclusion team to provide pastoral support to pupils. To assist in managing the provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities alongside the SENDCo, including EHCP, IEP and One Plan. To attend to pupils’ personal needs and provide advice to assist in their social, health & hygiene development. To assist in managing interventions and personalised support, including Individual Education Plans/One plans, Personal Support Plans. To assist the teacher with the development and implementation of personalised support plans. To monitor and ensure that pupils have appropriate support and resources to enable them to achieve positive learning and developmental outcomes.
You will:
