An exciting opportunity has arisen within our school-based Specialist Education and Training Support Service (SEaTSS).

SEaTSS is a large multi-disciplinary Specialist Advisory Teacher team of over 100 staff members over 5 teams consisting of 5 Deputy Heads, 5 Senior Teachers and a Head of Service supported by a team of approximately 64 Advisory Specialist Teachers, 14 HTLAs and 5 technicians.

We have a short video here to give you a flavour of us and what we do:

We are looking to appoint a highly self-motivated individual to support SEaTSS to develop and expand our service. The post holder will have significant expertise and experience in working with children who have Autism/Social Communication needs and related co-occurring conditions. We are looking for an exceptional teacher who has taught across different phases of education, supporting students with a range of additional learning needs. Advisory Teachers need to be well-versed in best practice strategies and supports to improve the inclusion of learners with SEND, and able to advise and model these strategies by working alongside school staff within the mainstream classroom.

If you have been a SENDCo, Specialist Teacher or SEND Teacher and have experience in delivering training and interventions, or similar experience, then this may be the opportunity for you. We are looking for people who can provide a positive, hands-on and creative problem-solving approach to add to our already extensive skill base. In return, we can offer you wide ranging training and a supportive ethos which we feel will develop your professional knowledge.

No two days will ever be the same in SEaTSS so if you are looking for a new challenge come and join us!

Closing date for applications will be midnight of the Wednesday, 9th October 2024.
Interviews will be held on Friday, 18th October 2024.

Please note: references will be sought of shortlisted candidates prior to interview once attendance has been confirmed.
