The Post
 
Brent Music Service (BMS) is seeking to appoint dynamic and well-motivated instrumental tutors to teach individual and small group lessons at primary and secondary schools in Brent. We are particularly looking for music tutors in the following:
  • Violin
  • Piano/keyboard
  • Woodwind
  • Brass
  • Vocal

The Purpose

To deliver instrumental and/or vocal tuition to individuals, small or ensembles as required.

The Person

All levels of experience are considered. It is not necessary to have QTS however qualified teacher applicants are welcomed.

This position would be ideal for a tutor with: 
-    teaching experience
-    an ability to perform to a high standard on principal instrument
-    high expectations of students
-    clear knowledge of progression of skills to develop competency and skills in an instrument
-    good organisational skills
-    knowledge of effectively managing small group lessons are welcomed.
