Term time only 44.46 weeks only but paid pro rata /split over 52 weeks

The SEaTSS Service is a large dynamic SEND Team based in Redbridge. SEaTSS supports students from 0-25yrs with SEND across the Local Authority. This includes specialist advisory teachers across all 4 broad areas of SEND, specialist HLTAs, specialist technicians, and more.
The Medical Inclusion Service has recently become part of the wider SEaTSS service within the local authority. We are looking for highly skilled specialist staff who are passionate about Inclusion to move the medical inclusion service offer forward, in order to ensure that our most vulnerable children and young people access a high quality educational offer while they are unable to attend school.

We have a vacancy for a fully qualified Play Therapist (BAPT qualified). The role is new and will be part of our new Medical Inclusion Home Tuition Service. Our ethos is child focused but committed to understanding and supporting our children to reintegrate into school. The successful candidate will be expected to work within identified pupils homes.
If you are a fully qualified Play Therapist with a record of excellent practice working with young people with SEMH, behavioural and/or mental health needs and are prepared to work within homes when required; if you have great verbal and written communication, excellent interpersonal skills, efficient and accountable record management and have a flexible and child centred approach this may be the role for you.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 17th or Friday 18th October 2024.
