The role – Damp and Mould Surveyor
As The Damp and Mould Surveyor will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify and assess issues related to dampness and mould. The successful candidate will provide detailed reports, recommend remedial solutions, and oversee the implementation of these solutions to ensure that properties comply with health and safety regulations.

- Conduct comprehensive surveys of properties to identify damp and mould issues.
- Utilise moisture meters, hygrometers, and other diagnostic tools to measure dampness.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, causes, and recommended actions.
- Oversee remedial works carried out by contractors, ensuring they meet industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of surveys, reports, and remedial actions.
What you’ll need
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience as a Damp and Mould Surveyor or in a similar role.
- Relevant qualifications in building surveying, environmental health, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building construction, dampness causes, and mould growth.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites.
