Notting Hill Genesis' Temporary and Supported Housing department deliver homes for thousands of people who face challenges in today's housing climate. Our residents include older people, people who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs as well as people who have experienced homelessness or struggle with managing issues like substance misuse and offending behaviour.

What you'll do

We know that having a safe, secure home is fundamental to everyone's wellbeing and our goal is to ensure that, regardless of need, our residents can lead their lives at home with dignity, in safety and in control. We want our services to become more person-centred, more flexible to different needs and better able to meet the rising demand for specialist housing in our communities. To do this we also have to meet our KPIs and achieve excellent financial performance.

We are now recruiting to our first-tier management role, which is critical to our success.

How you'll do it

As the direct line manager of our frontline staff, you will manage 5 frontline professionals - predominately Supported Housing Officers - who you will lead to deliver the best possible housing service in Supported Housing setting.

This is an excellent role for someone with first-hand experience of complex housing management who is ready to extend their impact.

With as many as 400 properties on your patch, you will be responsible for delivering your team's KPIs, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, contract management, and managing NHG's directly managed supported housing properties across North, West and South London.

The ideal candidate

This is a challenging and rewarding role. To be successful you must be steadfastly committed to delivering services of the highest quality. You'll be adept at risk management, have strong housing management experience, excellent communication skills and a commitment to working with vulnerable people.

We may consider applicants who have not managed a team before, though you must demonstrate the aptitude and potential for leadership.

Please note, the this position manages multiple schemes across London and will require travel to sites and for meetings.
